RACO PVCU LTD

We needed a 2 X 1 metre porch put up asap. Ray came out to give us a price and said it would be done in 4 - 5 weeks. He insisted on a deposit of £2960. After not hearing anything from him after 6 weeks. I rang him he said there was a hold up and said they only use the best materials. After 8 weeks he had still not contacted me at all so I rang him again and was told. He didn't run a Mickey mouse outfit and told me "It is what it is" After 12 weeks and still not hearing from him my husband went to his place of business and asked for the factory's phone number. When asked for this Ray remembered the materials had come in. This was on the Friday, they came to install the Porch on the Wednesday going into Thursday. I rang Ray to say the job had a bad finish. He also didn't install the mouldings he had priced for or the 2 door retainers. He sent someone to finish off the cladding to cover exposed screws. He also installed 1 door retainer ( the invoice is for 2) Ray said we would have to wait another 2 weeks for the mouldings to come in after ordering them. 5 weeks later he came to do them. He immediately asked for the balance even before letting us look at the workmanship. I told him I would pay when we have checked it all. He has now been paid in full. I would never recommend unless you don't mind waiting 3 times longer than expected. For not a brilliant experience each time being told "It is what it is" I do have photos and dates to back this up.
