Hair loss – I’m here to help!
You feel as good as your hair looks –this has been my mantra during my many years as a hairdresser. Our hair makes us feel better about ourselves, but when things start to go wrong it has a big impact on us psychologically. The result? Loss of self-esteem, embarrassment, anxiety and even depression.
Hair loss is experienced by many of us and very few manage to escape the problem at some time during our lives. It can have many possible causes – it may be genetic, hormonal, nutritional, infection related, a result of medication, stress, or many others.
It’s important to realise that hair loss doesn’t just happen, it’s usually a symptom of an underlying problem.
It’s also important to realise that with the right diagnosis and treatment, hair loss problems can be addressed – sometimes it just needs someone you can talk to
