Which mobile phone?

I've been taking far too long to decide which mobile to go for and have been thinking between HTC and iphone.

I see that HTC phone sales beat expectations and Apple are, of course, doing well despite telling people how to hold the iPhone as it effects the signal. Not only that but they've been giving false signal readings!!

Now, I've long admired Apple's products but put off by the proprietary nature of it all. So HTC seems to be the favourite for me but then I'm always open to presuasion. Or are there others phones I should be considering....

people tend to go for the iPhone for its wide range of Applications. Just think, what do you want to get out of your phone, and which of these can fulfil your needs the most.. good luck

HTC as long as it is running Android of course.
most app devs are starting to launch across both platforms.

I'd go HTC.

I've been using Android on a G1 for over a year now. The Android Marketplace has loads of apps and of course the user experience is so much more open to modification than it is for Apple products.

It really made my toes curl when people complained "there's a problem with this product!" and Apple responded "the product is perfect, the users are the problem." I'm a firm believer that our tools and technology should fit around *us*, not the other way around.

Excellent, I was heading towards HTC....

...now I just need to decide which model!

I have just demo-ed the desire nad it was v nice. better that googles own offering higher spec better screen etc etc.

The only thing I would say about all HTC's is the battery time is not very good due to all the features.
saying that I know several people with the Iphone and there battery life sux.

But again, same thing... someone spots the demand and creates a larger battery for any other phone, customers can then go out and buy the bigger battery for

I am a recent convert to the iPhone. I recently acquired th iPhone 4. On the whole, a positive product, but far from perfect. Before that I was lifelong BlackBerry fan.

there's apparently an announcement this morning from Apple regarding the iPhone 4 and the issues with coverage so may be worth a watch if you havent made your decision.

as for phones, i'm a blackberry user and cannot see myself ever changing from this.

I'd stick to the iPhone, all you need is a cover for it, and the issue is solved!

I personally have a blackberry, and from changing from iPhone to blackberry, I regret it!!

Apple is cool also
