Delicious sold to previous You Tube owners

Good on them, I hope they can change it, give it a new face and then I would consider using it
It's a popular site, although very often forgotten when websites try to include social media buttons., which is a shame.
If they can make it as big as YouTube then they're onto a winner!

See, myself I love all things internet, I just never got on with Delicious! Yeah okay so you can get some bookmarks which is cool for SEO and all but I never spent more than 10 minutes on the site, I just found it tedious.

Though delicious has declining traffic (112K - 41K monthly uniques in last 12 months according to Compete), it does still provide SEO value in terms of link diversity.

It is good to make your pages easy to bookmark on delicious (AddThis widget) as this can be a great passive link building tactic.

It will be interesting to see what the new owners do and what that will mean to delicious, its users and their future.
