Welcome!

Glad your furbaby got something out of the deal too!

One of the most effective ways to improve your visibility in search engine results and attract more potential customers is through Search Engine Optimization (SEO).

Let's discuss some valuable SEO tips that can give your small business a competitive edge:

  1. Research and Target Relevant Keywords: Tools like Google Keyword Planner, SEMrush, or Moz Keyword Explorer can assist you in finding relevant keywords with optimal search volume and competition.
  2. Optimise Your Website's On-Page Elements: Implement on-page SEO techniques to ensure your website is optimised for search engines. This includes optimising title tags, meta descriptions, header tags, and URL structures. Incorporate your target keywords naturally within your content, but avoid keyword stuffing, as it can negatively impact your rankings.
  3. Create High-Quality, Engaging Content: Content is king in the SEO world. Remember to optimise your content with relevant keywords and share it across your social media channels to drive more traffic.
  4. Build Quality Backlinks: Guest blogging, participating in industry forums, engaging with influencers, and adding links to local and international online directories can help you establish relationships and earn valuable backlinks.
  5. Optimise Your Website's Loading Speed

Remember, SEO is an ongoing process that takes time to see results.

Now that we are six months into the year, I'd love to hear where everyone is with their resolutions.

All the best Kirsty!

Is it worth it to do SEO Locally? 1st June 2023 1:26 AM

SEO is totally worth it! If you don't have any SEO, having a website other than having something nice online printed on a business card or appearing at the bottom of your email signature is pointless. Having a flash site matters, and having the best SEO practices implemented help to bump you along in Google. It's hard to word; it takes a lot of time but pays off eventually. And I can't stress the Google Business Profile route for local SEO.
