Pinterest can be really useful if you want to promote products that you sell. Obviously the more products you have the better as it means you can have more original content.
The best thing to do is to sign up and make a board that is focused upon the products you sell. Upload each image and add a few words about it, along with a price and then even a link to where that is on your site.
Then to help build up more interest, and increase your follower base, make some other boards that can be filled with pictures of things you love as a person. You don't have to upload these yourself, just create the board and then find images from pinterest and 'Re-Pin' them to a particular board.
Over time, the more re-pinning you do, the more images you upload and the bigger your board gets you will gradually and organically build up followers to your boards. But don't expect pinterest to massively increase your sales overnight as this wont happen.
ALSO DONT FORGET: pinterest is for picture lovers so make sure every image you upload is a high res image, any rubbish images and nobody willm like them.
