I think the only way Scotland would get independence is if England had the vote instead

Wonga sharks - using fake lawyers! 26th June 2014 11:40 PM

I would have thought something like this would warrant a criminal charge of some sort.....

Bad review couple win compensation 26th June 2014 11:37 PM
Ohhhhhh sounds a bit like the fun and games I've been having with ......

They took my money  for an advertisement that should have gone live from the end of February but is still not up.

They also threatened me with court action unless I removed my review that I left on Bizadvisor.

I emailed them in April and they said the advert had not yet gone to print due to delay so I told them as they had failed to meet agreed deadlines and as it had not yet gone to print, to cancel my order and issue a refund.

The reply was 'You don't have the right to cancel!'

The past 6 weeks have been spent on emails back and forth trying to get a refund of over £600 for service paid for and not received.

They agreed to a refund to be paid 'in due course when their account dept get's around to it' then asked me to issue them with a VAT invoice for the refund to be issued. (whoever had to invoice for a refund?)

I emailed and told them I was unable to issue a VAT invoice anyway as we are not VAT registered and the reply was 'If you're not VAT registered I can't refund the VAT as that is government money not ours'

Court proceedings have been started today by me!”

I would have only sent them 3 emails, just like I send 3 letters to those with outstanding invoices. Life is to short to mess around with idiots. I make sure I claim the interest too, which to be honest pays a better return than the bank

HS2 project - phase 2 - The North! 23rd June 2014 12:42 PM

Well if it stops people who live north of Watford complaining about the UK's Government lack of investment up North then it will be well worth it I think the main problem for it will be the competition from the airlines currently London City airport to Manchester costs around £80 will get there a whole lot quicker too

Disabled man shot in his wheelchair 22nd June 2014 11:43 PM

Maybe the Police have changed their policy on firearms. I always thought if they came across someone with a firearm who was threatening either them or the public they shoot to kill not wound. When in the forces doing weapons training we were taught to kill rather than wound as a wounded man is a dangerous man who can still take you out.... Thankfully I never had to do either

What's pets do you have? 22nd June 2014 11:35 PM

Guess he came in via the cat flap (unless he's got a set of keys) Cats are very territorial and have nice long claws, but foxes and cats generally give each other a wide berth... I did have to kick the cats out first, shut all the doors and leave the front door open so the fox could only go one way..

Think he / she was just a young cub it's head and ears was still out of proportion to the rest of its body. I think it was more scared of me than the other way round. Gave him 2 choices go on his own free will or become another Davy Crockett hat....

What's pets do you have? 22nd June 2014 8:09 AM

Not a pet, but someone who decided to move in Friday night / Saturday morning. Found him / her in the bath at 5am. Very tempting to give him a stroke and feed him, but thought best to keep him wild and keep my hands and sent him on his way....

Yes I have to turn the paper I'm writing on to around 45 degrees, it then looks to everyone that I am writing up the paper. However when I turn the page straight, the writing ends up being level...

I would like Renault to recall one van, scrap or recycle it not bothered which and give me a roadworthy van...
