Indeed; I see FIFA caved in quite rightly so.
Internet monitoring - yes or no? 8th November 2011 7:59 PM
Yee gads; in my previous life prior to retirement we would all have got the boot. eBay, FB, Gmail, Hotmail Twitter seemed to be where we all were mostly. We actually got in touch with the company responsible for what sites we viewed and we simply asked for the above few to be allowed.

I think (for what its worth), if every single company in the country did this monitoring; either tens of thousands would be laid off or we would need to rethink the entire internet access at work thing. Like that would work.

I'd love to know just how much time (honestly) peeps spend doing their own thing at work on putes.

I understand both of these companies have sent staff home for wearing poppies; or more to the point for refusing to remove them at the request of each respective company.

Have they NOT the foggiest idea WHY people wear a poppy????? If this is 100% true (which I believe it to be so) this is two stores I will never shop in again.

When will they wake up and actually take a sniff of the coffee?

Link Building 101 15th March 2011 7:57 PM
It'll take my brain a while to take this all in. When I tested the two links to look at my own back links the first one showed 1,539 and the second 1,384.

I'm happy with 500 hits every day; I hit 700 last Sunday so I'm getting closer to my target of 1K.

Thanks for the post.

You can tell Mike is using a mac nowadays, life just got better!

Ahh love my Mac and Photoshop; see what you made me do Kip Trouble is, this is one of the busiest times in the bonsai Calendar so I doubt that much will get done to the site for a while now, just when I waz on a roll.

Don't forget everyone, Best of British Bonsai at the Birmingham Botanical Gardens April 9th & 10th 2011 home also to the national collection, wonderful day out even for non-'bonsai' folks.

I'd sen my humble little Bonsai WP.com site go up steadily in hits from 100, then 200 and it leveled out at around 250-300 a day.

Yesterday though 510 hits and thus far today just a minute ago, 476 hits. I like WP in-so-far as you can see exactly what folks are searching for and where they have come from, what links etc.

Bring on the target of 1000 If I can get an average of 1000 a day that is going to be say 300,000 a year taking out holidays and such forth.

I'm currently writing up individual care guides which is exhausting and techniques. I am doing it slightly differently by using pictures and words to tell a story. Downsides is loading speeds so at some stage I may have to reduce the res of pictures to make it run quicker for slow speed connections.

I'm thrilled to bits really and the more intense and thorough technical information I include will mean repeat hits. No money in it and it is just for fun really, but the challenge now is to get that 1000 hits!

I picked up so much from Steve & Kip when I was in business and it was Kip that first introduced me to WP. A huge thanks for that. I'm even in part using HTML code now.

Adwords scam - beware 28th February 2011 3:10 PM
Rhymes with 'Bankers' senders of such tripe.
what do you tweet ? 23rd February 2011 7:05 AM
I use it for tweeting blog news or website in general. I'm not sure it has a passionate following for pleasure as does facebook.

140 syllables? Hmmm think that is wrong. I'm not a fan now I'm retired but when i was in business it was a useful free marketing tool.
