Drayton's Downfall.. 16th May 2017 2:04 PM

I also heard that the child in  question stood up to change seats and I saw on facebook a lady said this happened to her son but luckily for her there were no other rafts in the area where it happened and a quick thinking member of the public jumped the fence and saved her son. If this has happened before why have they not put seatbelts of some description on the rafts to stop kids from standing up and getting knocked into the water. I'm pretty sure the parents will be asking the same question. so sad that this has had to happen for them to re evaluate their safety procedures. My deepest sympathy goes out to the family

Home First Aid Kit 16th May 2017 1:52 PM

I always have a first aid kit on me (probably because I'm allergic to pretty much everything) I have a first aid cabinet at home when my son was little it was mostly Calpol, plasters, Parcetamol (for me) and chesty cough syrup, nowadays I have Paracetamol, Ibuprofen, Rennies, Antihistamine tablets, Antiseptic cream, plasters, etc but no bandages, and in my handbag I have a small draw string bag with paracetamol, Antihistamine tablets, Rennies, Immodium, eye drops, and strepsils I'm pretty much a walking drug store lol. I have a proper First Aid kit at work with Bandages etc too but so far have only used  plasters not the bandages (touch wood). I have thought about one in my car too for emergency's and as I sell Basic First Aid kits I really should put one in my car just in case.
