It seemed slightly unusual and I was curious enough to take a look and it stated:- In re International Air Transportation Surcharge Antitrust Litigation Case No. M:06-md-1793-CRB REMINDER NOTICE You may be a member of a settlement class relating to a class action lawsuit in the United States District Court - Northern District of California, San Francisco Division, In re International Air Transportation Surcharge Antitrust Litigation; Case No. M:06-md-1793-CRB, concerning fuel surcharges on "long haul" flights provided by British Airways Plc and Virgin Atlantic Airways, Ltd. If you bought a ticket on British Airways or Virgin Atlantic in the U.S. or in the U.K. between August 11, 2004 and March 23, 2006, you may be entitled to a partial refund of the fuel surcharge. The settlement relates only to tickets on "long haul" flights. All flights on Virgin Atlantic are "long haul." Most British Airways flights between the U.K. and non E.U. destinations, including flights to and from the United States, are "long haul." A complete list of qualifying flights can be found on the website listed below. If you have already submitted a claim, you do not need to do so again. This was the first I'd heard of anything so I was mildly curious so Googled it and sure enough it was mentioned in various places back in 2008 - Where was I?!!
