What does everyone think?

Is he truly dead?

Yes he is.

Though as to why on earth they shot an unarmed man is another question altogether! Apparently he was resisting surrender.... ..what with - a man bag!!?

Madness.

Obvious really. Claim he died in a firefight, and removes the media frenzy and political nightmare/publicity of a trial.

Bury him at sea, so there's no body, no martyr potential and no future pilgrimages.

Could be last opportunity to use an Osama smiley

I think that there are questions to be asked all round, why were Pakistan harbouring him? Why are western nations hell bent on trying to convert the rest of the world to being democratic? Why is the UK Government sending taxpayers money to Pakistan when Bin Laden was living in

Thanks,
Barney

Yes, Bin & gone.

Jihad it coming.

But I don't think it's right for people to celebrate it, that's what they do upon acts of terrorism! We should not be like them, basically there's a good quote for this..

Quote;

"Returning hate for hate multiplies hate, adding deeper darkness to a night already devoid of stars. Darkness cannot drive out darkness: only light can do that. Hate cannot drive out hate: only love can do that.

Great quote Mike. I think that the words of MLK ring true in this context for sure. For those who lost loved ones, it is understandable that closure is key.

Imagine what the world would be like if we could all just get along and be tolerant of each others beliefs and stop killing in the name of God, any God.

Not had much success in the last couple of thousand years, and with a growing worldwide population, dwindling resources and more ongoing conflicts than we've ever had, it's not looking too promising..

This God bloke has a lot to answer for!

It's probably a woman and not a bloke, after all who starts all the arguements indoors?

Thanks,
