Facebook hacked

Have you tried reaching out to Facebook support? Sorry, it's the most obvious thing to do, but what got the account hacked in the first place? Did you happen to click any unknown links? Phishing emails? Any sort of event that could've compromised your account? If the business page is connected to your personal FB only (which is bad, this is why it's better to have multiple people have access to the FB page) then retrieving it might be impossible now.

They still haven't gotten back to me. lol

In the end I just started again as Facebook was no help.. I've turned on 2 step authorization now , with a few failed attempts to take over my page again.. Now for some reason Pewter is a banned substance for selling using FB Shops  

Really? That's kinda bad. I thought the contact support team will provide the help you need but it seems they can't.

Still no reply from anyone at FB ..

I wish I could get my family to join mewe ... It is so much better than FB

Sorry to hear this Andy. Facebook is a total pain in the bum. Support is non-existant.

I had a spell where I lost access for 3 months, just couldn't log-in. FB help were next to useless and I had to trawl through forums tying to find the answer which I eventually stumbled on, and it turned out to be a simple case of having to do a force log out of all devices which fixed the problem, a known issue.

Why FB couldn't have just told me that is beyond me!

Then there have been recent reports of business pages disappearing or getting banned because they had tripped over a policy or a product was deemed to be unacceptable. 

My most recent issue has been with FB reviews. We had 1,300+ which all disappeared overnight. Then it showed as 2, which is frustrating as Google picks this up and shows it in its search results. Then as if by magic, they are all back again 

Then don't start me on Google, we were temp banned from PPC, for no reason, then allowed back on with no explanation, then last month were penalised and suspended from Adsense, with no reason, but given the usual guidelines, don't click your own adverts, don't buy fake traffic etc. I mean really?? We've used PPC and Adsense since it started, and used to have proper human account managers. But now it's all "AI" driven with no explanation given when the Google God penalises you. Then as if by magic, the restriction was lifted and we are still none the wiser 

A very wise person said on another forum, "Never build your business on rented ground", which is excellent advice, but is sometimes unavoidable when you see how dominant these big players are

Oh don't get me started on FB shop.. I can't get my products listed there as FB seem to always reject my products ... Used to be fine with my old page which is now gone as lost access ....

But yes these AI programs are not the best at all. FB could easily have manned forums or messaging as they make enough money out of advertising

Sorry you had to start again!! Two step authentication is important though, plus get someone added as an admin. A friend or someone you trust. Being the only person with access is dangerous. 

I know, my password was 30 characters long and they still managed to delete my account... I've lost access again lol as someone has managed to change my password again, may have been me but not sure lol... After 3 months I managed to find a link that worked, so there is hope I may get everything back.. But once you know where to go it seems so simple . Go to facebook.com/hacked , so simple when you know
