Dave was absolutely brilliant from the moment we booked right until the end of the wedding party!
His team make sure every event is individually catered to the bride and groom and make a real effort to get to know the guests on the night and match the vibe to their tastes.
We added to our package a photo mirror which was a wonderful addition. Dave Dee Discos are the recommended supplier to Moddershall Oaks, I don’t think the evening reception would have been even half as successful had we gone with another DJ, so thank you also to Moddershall for your recommendation.
The evening party and Dave’s skills were the talk of breakfast. Really appreciate everything Dave and the team did from our initial booking over a year ago up until our wedding on Saturday.

Booking Dave Dee for our wedding was hands down the best decision we made!
From the personal pre-event calls with both Dave and Kim, it was like talking to two people we’d known for years who were really invested in making sure our night was tailored to us.
Dave also achieved something that many DJs have failed to do: he succeeded in getting my Alex my new husband onto the dance floor with a smile on his face, not just once, but several times!
This is a massive achievement, so well done Dave!!

Between Me, my new wife, family and friends we have a truly eclectic taste in music. Heavy rock music to 80s pop, dance trance to indie classics. And too be fair to Dave he managed to cover that entire range while balancing the mood perfectly, we when from chase and status to Greek Zorba if you needed proof. The dance floor was never empty, there was good crack with all the guests and crafted a truly beautiful and memorable night, and the icing on the cake they even where able to capture some of these moments on film while we enjoyed them. Can’t recommend highly enough.

Dave was absolutely amazing! Couldn’t have asked for a better DJ for our wedding he was so thoughtful and really went above and beyond for us even spending money to buy a song for my random requests! A huge thank you to Dave & Kim for helping to elevate my event even more with their beautiful uplighting. Not only did they do this, but they ensured everything went smoothly for me on the lead up to the day. From my first inquiry with them to us deciding on lighting, to all the key information about the lights themselves and delivery. Dave Dee Disco services supplied us with 4 fire cloths and a back drop for our stage at our Glamour & Glitz charity ball held at the moat house festival park. Dave confirmed his arrival time the day before the event, he turned up at the time that was confirmed and he game me his professional advice about where the equipment should go and where it would look good. He was very reasonable priced. A true professional business that would not let you down. Will be using his services in the future.

We found Dave Dee Disco on the internet and seemed like a great choice to DJ for my wedding.
They were very helpful in compiling exact what I would need to help make our event truely special, from compiling the quote and equipment down to room layout and lighting etc.
Upon meeting Dave a few weeks before the big day the passion for his work really came across and gave us great confidence that we had made the right choice.
This was further cemented when they put together a special song to announce the evening buffet at my request and also helped mix a special song for my wifes dance with her father.
The whole evening went flawlessly and everyone could not comment enough on how good the music and general flow of the evening went - Full reward goes to Dave for that.
I cannot recommend them highly enough and would put an even higher score if possible - I would say they are the ONLY choice if you want the perfect wedding DJ. The music can make or break the evening reception and Dave most definitely made ours above and beyond any expections we had.

I used Dave Dee Discos for my one year old daughter's christening party. Andy was absolutely brilliant! He worked solidly for 7 hours & this included a two hour kids disco that was absolutely fantastic. All the kids & their parents are still talking about it two weeks on!

Dave Dee provided an excellent service for our wedding reception at a fair price.
In the run up, they were prompt and efficient with their admin and also about keeping in touch with us when they said they would. They also took the time to make sure they knew what kind of music we wanted, and every song we asked them to play was played!
On the day Andy, our DJ, was punctual and professional. He worked hard to read the mood of the room and adjusted the music accordingly depending on who was up on the dancefloor. He keep everyone dancing all night, and contributed to a great night. Thanks very much!

Having been entertained on several occaisions by DJ Dave Dee we had no hesitation in booking him for the 21st Birthday celebrations of our daughter two years ago and, more recently in July of this year, for our son's 21st Birthday party. We cannot praise Dave Dee highly enough; from the initial enquiry email through to waving him off in the early hours of the morning when the parties had ended, he is totally professional. His enthusiasm is infectious and his ability to entertain people of all ages ensures that the dance floor is always packed. Thank you Dave - we think you really do provide "the complete disco service".

A great service from the start. All email enquiries and calls answered within hours, a real sense of personal service and a totally fantastic party. Ive known Dave Dee Discos for a few years as a school disco but having hired him for a party for my 8 year old I have only good words to say. My daughter felt special, her brothers too and her friends all had a fab time. Most definitely a pleasure and well recommended. Thank you x

We initially were considering having a band play at our wedding at Shottle Hall, Belper which is a fabulous venue by the way. However we opted for a D.J and more importantly Dave Dee. Wow he created the best atmosphere for our reception. He played the best tunes and was skilful and experienced to read his audience and work with them. Dave was more than accommodating as we sang for our first dance he made all the preparations in and advance and was in regular contact via email.

Hired Alton Castle for my 50th & had 120+ at party. Sound & lighting were excellent, really enhanced the gothic castle, and Dave did a fab job keeping everyone dancing for 4 hours. Many adults had best night out for 20 years! I fully recommend Disco Dave Dee!

This is the 5th year that I have had Dave Dee disco at the events that I have organised. The audience are always of various ages and he never fails to keep the evening going, never an empty dance floor. He is always, professional and without a doubt the reason why the night is always so successful. The equipment he brings looks great, adding to the overhaul night. I would not hesitate in recommending Dave and his team for your special night, I am just in the process of sorting out my date for next year ... Great work Dave , thanks x

The booking of Dave Dee discos was easy and the communication was fantastic. Any issues arising we're dealt with immediatly. My 7 year old had a wonderful time and Dave was simply brilliant with all the children and many of the parents present were so impressed they took his number.

We used Dave for a few kids? discos 15 years ago. He was very good then. We were thinking of who to use for my wife?s 50th and he sprung to mind. Could he make the transition? Could he make the transition? He was fantastic and was able to strike just the right tone for a quite posh black tie do for 100 people. The dance floor was always full and he interacted with everyone in a cheerful friendly way so that everyone felt at home and encouraged to dance.

I had my birthday party with Dave Dee Discos. Not only is he a master DJ (playing all the music I'd asked for) but he was fantastic at getting my guests to join in the dancing, make their requests and was generally a very cool guy. I've had loads of emails and texts today saying how much people had enjoyed themselves. One older couple said they'd never danced so much in years!

Our Wedding on Saturday 4th August will obviously stick in our minds as the best day of our lives, but this is hugely down to the evening party we had. Our DJ, provided by Dave Dee Discos, made our night one we will never forget. He filled the dance floor and kept the party going all night, taking requests, using a playlist we had already discussed with him and the dancefloor to recognise what our guests were enjoying. During the majority of the songs you couldn't get on the dance floor; it was so busy! Everyone had such an amazing time and we were flooded with messages the next day saying it would be a party they would never forget! We can't express enough gratitude for the professional service leading up to our Wedding and the amazing evening provided- our DJ and all his Disco equipment, made it a night to remember. We love looking back at our night do photos the most as everyone was having such a great time.
We would highly recommend Dave Dee Discos; we won't ever use anyone else in the future!

DJ Jon was very professional, he combined well with the band to ensure that the dance floor was full throughout the night.

Wow! fantastic evening. DJ Dave Dee is the uttmost best DJ ever. The Dance floor was never empty infact needed to be bigger he had all of our 260 guests up dancing, no one wanted the night to end. No party is a party without DJ Dave Dee!
