Really happy with our experience of domestic surveys for our home buyers Level 2 survey. Martin was easy to get hold of; and was both friendly & professional on the phone and via email pre-survey.
Lee completed the survey on arguably the hottest day of the year so far and we were very happy with the in depth written report he gave. It was thorough, had images to support comments and importantly answered all the things we asked them to check. He sent the report through quicker than their suggested turnaround time and offered a callback to go through the results. The call back was greatly appreciated as it enabled us to follow up on any comments made and to explore what we might need to raise with our solictor. The invoice system of full payment within 9 days of the survey being completed was helpful in managing our finances too.
We wouldn't hesitate to use domestic surveys again ourselves, and to recommend them to others. Thank you ????

Absolutely brilliant service. Martin went out of his way to arrange a time where Lee could access the roof to do a full survey. We then found Lees survey incredibly detailed and useful. He also offers some time to review it over video after which again was brilliant. I have used Domestic Surveys for two property purchases now and I wouldn't hesitate to use them again.

I recently had a Level 3 property survey carried out by Lee Preston and was extremely impressed with the service provided. The report was detailed, clear, and included practical recommendations. Lee was professional and knowledgeable throughout. I would highly recommend both Lee and the company and would certainly use them again.

This is the second time I've used Domestic Surveys/South West Surveyors and I can't recommend them highly enough. Lee produced an excellent, detailed report for me that was easy to understand. His communication was fantastic throughout, and he was more than happy to answer any questions I had. The fees were also very reasonable. I'll absolutely be using them again in future.

I was extremely impressed with Lee and his service.
The booking was made swiftly, and the survey report shared within a few days after the appointment. Lee was extremely thorough throughout the report, and made some excellent recommendations for works that should ideally be carried out before the sale, including indicative costs. I managed to knock £2k off the purchase price, thanks to the in-depth report and recommendations.
Lee was also responsive, helpful and knowledgeable when I came to him with questions post the survey. I was very happy with the whole experience (not to mention the outcome!) and would highly recommend this business.

We were very pleased with the service. The report was comprehensive and detailed and the follow-up appointment with Lee was really helpful, he efficiently answered all of our questions. We would not hesitate to recommend this company.

Cannot recommend Domestic Surveys highly enough. Got a reply on the weekend when I needed to book a survey quickly during the process purchase. The report was super detailed and the followup call on Zoom was great, Lee understood every concern I had and answered them in detail. Definitely worth the money for the peace of mind.

The whole process was quick and customer service was very easy to get a hold of. Any questions I had in advance of the survey were answered promptly.
The work that Lee did at the property was great. The 40+ page report was sent to me within two days and everything in it was easy to digest and follow.
Lee provided a 1:1 phone call as well and answered any questions I had.
All in all, a great service with amazing communication! Would recommend!

The communication throughout was very good, and the survey itself was thorough and clear. The surveyor, Lee, made himself available for a conversation afterwards and made sure I understood the comments made we finished. I would recommend him and the company to anyone.

We recently used Lee's services for a survey on a detached 50's bungalow that had been extended over time and we are planning on purchasing. Lee was available to meet us at the house towards the end of the survey and pointed out some of the observations he had identified. We found his survey report very thorough and were pleased with the overall outcome. Fortunately for us, the property was in a good condition overall, but Lee highlighted some areas where future maintenance was needed (and to be expected). We also had a follow up call with him where he gave us an honest and realistic view on when we should do things and an approximate budget for them. We were impressed with Lee's approach and the report he produced will be useful both for the purchase and to help us carry out future maintenance . We would certainly recommend this company for other buyers.

I found South West Surveyors through a friend who highly recommended them and we also had an excellent experience using their services.
It was simple to organise, we said we needed a survey and Martin took care of the rest! Martin was very friendly and explained our options around survey levels and generally made the process clear and simple. He also regularly updated us along the way and organised everything with the sellers.
Lee performed our survey, quickly provided us with a thorough report and kindly took the time to talk through and explain the issues for us. I would highly recommend his services and will get in contact again if we buy another property in the future.

Though price is not the most competitive in the market, Lee (Surveryor) and Martin (Client Services) were always responsive, in a swift manner. The Full Report was very detail and when we had the virtual meeting with Lee he gave detailed explanation. Would definitely recommend!

Lee was assigned as our surveyor - The report he put together was very thorough, he even scheduled in a Zoom meeting with us after the report was finalised. He was happy to guide us through the whole report and expand on the areas that we had questions on.
We would highly recommend Lee to all of our friends and family - The level of service was extremely high compared to the cost.

Lee's report was very thorough and well balanced, highlighting positives about the property as well as a very detailed description of risks and issues.
When it came to our meeting, he was helpful, clear and good to talk to. He was knowledgeable about the area and after the meeting we were much better informed about what the property needed and were able to renegotiate the sale price on the back of that information.
Would absolutely recommend Lee to anyone looking for a building surveyor.

We were drawn to South West Surveyors specifically for the technical depth they offered, and we got exactly what we wanted. You get what you pay for, and in this case, extremely good value for money. Excellent service by Martin and Lee. Thorough Level 3 survey which was followed up by a phone call or video call to go through any questions.

Martin at Domestic Surveys was very informative, friendly and managed to book us in with Lee for a full structural survey of our property we had an offer agreed upon.
The amount of detail and professionalism in Lee's report was brilliant. There were lots of pictures of around the house including the whole roof structure and chimney stack.
The report highlighted many areas and without it we could have made a huge financial mistake with the serious issues that would never have been found were it not for the survey.
Lee took the time to do a long video chat to go through everything in more detail and to explain to us the issues and what could have been done to rectify them.
We eventually decided not to proceed but have now booked Domestic Surveys already for our next offer.
