So the news today, Lloyds apparently back in profit, tax payer make get a few shekels back, and Lloyds master plan is to re-create the TSB brand.

Following the rebranding, Lloyds will float off the TSB business, which will have its own board and chairman.

BBC News - Lloyds Banking Group back in profit in first half

Imagine having a High Street bank called TSB.... Can even think of a slogan, the bank that likes to say...

Really has been an odd few years, banks going bust, banks buying banks, getting bailed out by the tax payer to stop them going bust. Banks about to buy banks then changing their mind.

I've no idea what's happening to my Natwest Business Account. I got told we had been sold to Santander Our online banking weblinks changed, then it all fell through, now apparently we're getting sold off to someone else, but no idea who to or when

You don't need to change bank account anymore, if you wait long enough, you'll end up getting merged or bought out by someone else...
