London gets a whiskey distillery for the first time in 100 years.

For any fellow whiskey fans, this was an interesting story, the launch of The London Distillery Company.

I remember seeing this as a pitch on CrowdCube, a crowd sourcing investment website, and they got all of their funding last year.

What a fantastic business to get into, although a huge risk, as the first whiskey won't be ready for 3 years, so hope it tastes alright!

Apparently they have been granted the first single malt whiskey licence since the 1900's, and will be the only Whiskey producer in London.

I reckon we are looking at a success story here and wish I'd taken a punt on them. Oh well, best of luck to them and shall look forward to sampling it when it's ready!
