A Typoon from RAF Coningsby broke the sound barrier on its way to intercept a plane that had lost contact with ATC. This prompted dozens of calls to 999 and over 100 more to the non emergency 101 line as the plane went supersonic over Peterborough. Anyone out & about yesterday that heard it? Clive |
