Yelp forms an anti Google coalition

Yelp has formed an anti Google coalition called Focus on the User and is trying to demonstrate that Googles current search results are unfair when it comes to local results.

They have released the below video, and are promoting a chrome extension that claims to demonstrate Google bias. What do you think?

Interestingly I downloaded and installed the chrome extension over the weekend, only to get a message in my browser that Google had disabled it as it was deemed to be unsafe

So is this big brother or maybe round one of clash of the Titans?

This isn't the first anti Google coalition, with Trip Advisor, Microsoft and Expedia amongst others forming the FairSearch alliance who regularly put pressure on Google.

With recent EU antitrust activity and German Newspapers unhappy with Google displaying paid content, is there an anti Google backlash starting to grow, or is this just sour grapes from smaller competitors?
