Stayed at home myself, everyone else went out which suited me fine... I actually watched Ghandi for the first time ever... Think most of the cast are now dead... or very close to it... Came under mortar attack around midnight, so the cats were freaked out for an hour....Then watched Micky Flanagan....Off to bed... Woken up at 5am with everyone wishing me a happy new year.... Spent the rest of yesterday, making as much noise as I possibly could... Just to annoy those who thought it might be a good idea to annoy me....  

Once people start speculating... The inevitable usually materialises.....

Well someone famous always goes on Christmas day...... Listening to the song 'Last Christmas I gave you my heart' will never sound the same again... considering he died of heart failure.... Still another 5 days to go before the year is out, usually a biggy on News Years day... but still time for a few more before then...

Will probably be quite a few more next year, I put this down to the fact that 'stars' of the 50's 60's & 70s would have been in their 20s and 30s when they got stardom. Prior to this era only film and stage stars existed... Zsa Zsa Gabor who died yesterday was a huge star in her day, anyone born after the 80s would probably never have even heard of her.... 'Pop' stars seem to have more longevity simply because their records will continue to be played and recycled... 'White Christmas' being a classic example, churned out every year, haven't been any new Christmas songs since the 80s.... Even Cliff has given up now...

Oh dear me... I completely forgot about that, seriously I had....  Over the summer I had visited several other places around this area Tydd St Mary, Wisbech and Louth.... Couple of the sales agents mentioned the bombing runs.... And had to stop on some of the country roads to allow the jets to fly over 20ft above the tarmac....  End of the day they have to practice somewhere..... And although I'm not a plane geek unlike others you cannot help but admire the skill and professionalism of the RAF jet pilots.....

And next week I believe the baggage handlers are out on strike.... These unions certainly know how to get the public on their side...

Well, not a million miles from where I am now, although it feels like I have driven a million miles to find the place.... A place called Holbeach, I'm not sure whether it is an up and coming or a down an out town... time will tell... The good thing for me was I didn't have to worry about schools and the night clubs as I'm past all that....

Yes happy Christmas everyone and a prosperous new year.... Personally I shall now be moving in January to my new home... And semi retirement beckons.... I cannot wait...

Not sure how you deal with bullying, not even sure it is only related to children / teens... I think it is very probable that teachers / adults can target individual children and bully them,  It certainly happens in the work place, but more often than not it will be passed of as being work place banter... You only have to watch the likes of Big Brother or I'm a Celebrity to see adults / cliques bullying others.... Not sure that it is intentional or whether the people doing it actually realise they are doing it... The school bully I had to deal with was a ABA school boy boxing champ... I cant remember how it all escalated but he kept having a dig at me and it went on for sometime.... Anyway I left it for 2 or 3 weeks allowed him to push his way in front of everyone for school lunch...... Then battered him with the dinner tray... Unfortunately him being 2 years older than me and a whole lot bigger I came off worse....  But it sorted out the problem and we never had any further issues... In fact we're friends on FB 40 years later and laugh about it now...
