You cannot beat good customer service, but I do feel that customer service is better is better in the high street than it is online... Sometimes it can take up to 4 years to resolve an ongoing issue when dealing with an online issue...

Seriously though I think if you are dealing with a person face to face the customer service is far better. When dealing online you are dealing with a faceless person and you become just a number... At the moment I am dealing with an online accountancy software company, which in the past I and others have given credit to on here and elsewhere. It became apparent last week that they have been charging my bank account twice a month although only invoicing for one payment.... After several emails back and forth they want me to email bank statements, I've refused telling them that as a company that specialises in accounting they should be in a position to check their own accounts.... It's a stalemate at the moment, but I'm sure they will start checking once I've gone down the legal route once again....Which begs the question if they are doing it to me... they will be doing it to others....

I'm pretty sure that if I and lets say David Beckham, both had a broken arm and needed NHS treatment.... We would be treated completely different from each other.... Beckham would have people sucking up to him for the entire hour he was in hospital for.... Whereas I would be banging my good arm on the reception desk after 6 hours asking when will I be seen to....

Therefore one of us would becoming away praising the NHS and one of us wouldn't....

I'm sure if a vegan had head lice or bed bugs or cockroaches, then the choice to either keep them as pets or to eradicate them would be easily made.......

It all sounds great, but it always comes at a cost to peoples jobs. And those that work for the likes of Amazon seem to be running around like headless chickens on a minimum wage or just above it..... with little or no quality of life... If people want this type of lifestyle, great but it's not for me and I'm damned if I'll be forced into a world where there is even less human interaction to save a couple of quid.... This is why I avoid using the self checkouts at supermarkets, they've all come at the cost of jobs, half don't work properly or make you wait for someone to clear the problem, so saving you little or no time at all.... In my opinion there is nothing wrong with talking to the old girl on the checkout, you maybe the only person she talks to all day long which helps to keep her sanity... The other option is to sack her, keep her behind the 4 walls of her home and just deliver food parcels to her when she needs feeding...

They've been around for 100s of years......  I believe they call them 'clogs'

Just a point Steve, I have refreshed as instructed, but don't know whether it is just me or everyone, but I have now noticed that the text box for posts now as in the last post where I wrote customer ends midway on the top line and finishes on the second, whereas prior to the upgrade if you could not get all the text of one word on one line, the whole word / text would begin on the next line.... Hope that I'm making sense.... And in case your wondering my page is at 100%

Yes...... thanks for taking 4 years to sort that problem out, you cannot beat good quality prompt customer service.....
