I get that at the cinema, if i book online you get the upgraded seats - always to find a couple of kids trying it on in my reserved seats. A swift move it usually works

I flew with Thomsons in June, bought a sarnie to take onboard from Boots in BHX, but options where limited coming home so opted (stupidly) for a bacon buttie.

The 2 rashers of bacon were all but none existent (thinner than a piece of paper) and the ciabatta was so over toasted it crumbled.

Bring back in flight meals as standard!!!!

Flipping Market Research company - do i have 15 minutes to go through some questions. First reply is yep my rate is £100 per hour or part there of.

TPS does not apply to market research (which to be fair i already knew) but it really does annoy me that they can call you within this loophole, knowing damn well that they will either sell your details or try and sneak a sales message in at the end.

Anyone know why TPS does not apply to Market Research and is there anyway of converting my TPS registration to cover Market Research suppression?

Yes you may be totally in the wrong, but they should never tell you that, in fact it was their error for not being clearer on the phone, at least thats the style i would adopt and before you know it you have a customer for life......

I would guess that very few will have been completely truthful with their insurers. Forgetting they would need G.I.T Insurance and its associated cost, they would need Commercial Travelling too, which back in my day was a premium loading of around 60-100%, depending on the insurer.

I remember in the good old days flying to various places with my folks. Part of the "fun" was the inflight meal, which sadly i used to enjoy as a child.

Seems strange these days taking your own food on board, or buying a pathetic excuse for a bacon buttie....

Be interesting to see how this deal with M&S takes off ( oh come on it was there for the taking !) and if any of the other providers follow suit.
