Bit of an update to that can be found here at the telegraph, but deals more with what might be implemented on the public sector, instead.

He is expected to raise most money from the wealthiest and the welfare budget. After weeks of negotiations within the Coalition, the Conservatives have vetoed a Liberal Democrat plan for a mansion tax, but could still raid pension pots.

Just read this here at the independent.

Chancellor Osbourne is trying to put together five billion pounds to boost the economy. This places around 13 000 jobs on the line.

More than 13,000 civil service jobs could be axed as a result of an extra
As I see it, Google doesn't like any SEO, as it's all an attempt to manipulate the "natural" results.

Not really (IMHO). Even Matt himself gives webmasters tips on SEO and such. The webmaster tools guidelines give webmasters even more information on how to do SEO in the way they want it done. They even allow link selling, if its done the right way.

What Google is against are those "SEO's" that willfully manipulate the search results, with low quality content (often illegal content as well), and then using all manner of software and services to boost their own site's ranking, all the while not really looking to keep things natural looking.
Happy birthday dear Text Messages 3rd December 2012 9:41 AM

It has saved lives and ruined marriages, created a whole new dialect and made billions in profits for phone companies. But as the humble text message celebrates its 20th birthday, some wonder how much longer it will survive in a world of smartphones and all-you-can-eat data.

Corporation Tax 3rd December 2012 9:34 AM
Got this from the guardian a few minutes ago. The original post is available here if you'd like to read further

Amazon, Google and Starbucks have been accused of an "immoral" use of secretive jurisdictions, royalties and complex company structures to avoid paying tax on British profits by a committee of MPs.

A hard-hitting report released on Monday by the Commons public accounts committee, the parliamentary spending watchdog, also criticises HM Revenue & Customs for being "way too lenient" in negotiations with corporations which pay little or no corporation tax. It calls on the government to draw up laws to close loopholes and name and shame companies that fail to pay their fair share.

It seems that things might come to a head now perhaps.
Nah.....I don't think this could be possible. A virtual office..?? Not practical. To trust element in humans is gained only by face to face interaction.

I would have to disagree with that, unfortunately . Its how I work, and the trust factor is not even an issue. It's extremely practical for me as well my bosses, because I don't have to drive to an office, (no petrol fees, public transport fees etc.) so I am never really late for work (except when my network goes down, or like recently, my PC died, plus I work for other countries than my own, so it helps broaden horizons in more ways than one.
