lol It is kinda hard explaining to people that I actually work. Most still seem to think its just a hobby for me. You're right though legalstop, it takes a lot of dedication, but at the same time, if you like what you're doing, then its no trouble at all. I think that makes the difference. If you don't enjoy what you do, then it would be the same as if you had to drive into the office every morning, you'd get nothing done because you don't enjoy what you're doing. and vice versa. I love what i do, and love new challenges, so its not hard for me to work from home at all.
You're welcome skylight. With internet security being like it is these days, and so many sites being hacked, I thought it would be a good idea to add some info about how a wordpress site can be protected as they seem to be the most susceptible these days.

Have you been able to implement any of these ideas? would love some feedback

Again, its pretty easy to say that video marketing is a good tool. Tell us about some that you've worked on, and if they've been successful for you or not.
SMS Marketing 7th July 2013 8:43 AM
With smartphones now days its rather easy to access email etc. and a lot of non-smartphones have more or less the same capabilities, so email marketing isn't completely lost.

How do I start a blog? 7th July 2013 8:40 AM
hmmm you can try Google, there should be millions of sites you can use to blog on, or even guest blog perhaps. The biggest ones seem to be Wordpress and Blogger.
Taglines 4th July 2013 9:10 AM
That's what I think it should be. I mean leaving it sounding completely cryptic is not the best way to do things. I know its not the easiest thing to do, trying to get one short, powerful statement that describes your company.

So if you had to sit down and think about what you want to use as a tagline, what steps would you follow? and how would you narrow it down?
Thought this might be the best place to add it as it deals with website security and I know many use self hosted wordpress sites on their sites or blogs.

The post also comes from Moz (still need to get used to calling it that lols), but gives you some really good info about how hackers work, and how you can keep your WP site safe.

you can read the post here.

If you work in online marketing, the chances are good that you've worked on, are working on, or will at some point work on a WordPress site. If you work with wordpress.org in any capacity, this post is for you (much of this post doesn't apply to *.wordpress.com hosted sites).

The International SEO Checkilst 3rd July 2013 10:29 AM
Another gem from Moz, thought it might be good to share the infographic here for everyone to see. There is a higher resolution version of the image you can download and print as well.

I wanted to compile a checklist of the most fundamental aspects to consider when developing an international SEO process
Keyword Data - The moz way 3rd July 2013 10:19 AM
Found this little gem about keyword data over at Moz.

Keyword data sources have long been a key tool in the pockets of search engine optimizers. There is little argument that know what people search for and how often has and will continue to be an important knowledge set in nearly any SEO endeavor. However, like most things in SEO, the devil is in the data.

Read through and tell me what you think about the post
