I read an article on a related note, Study: 58% of UK workers expect the office to be extinct by 2021 — Tech News and Analysis the basic story being that 58% of UK workers expect the standard office as we know it to be extinct by 2021 and 56% said they expect to spend less time commuting (will we all be working from home instead of sitting on the train to work?).

While I don't think the office is going to vanish any time soon, virtual working is definitely becoming more popular.

WOW. 4 hours?! And great, the 'telephone test' is a great way to test out how you would be treated in the future as a customer.. just make sure you ring the support line and not the sales! We all know how quickly the sales line will be answered :P

Thoughts?

How long will you stay on hold before you hang up? More than the average of 5 mins? less?

Would you get rid of a service if they repeatedly kept you on hold?

Discuss! :-)
We sometimes reply to those types of emails, acting incredibly interested and asking them to call the office...they never do! thumbsdown Shame, could have a laugh...

Is Facebook a Useful tool 22nd February 2012 12:58 PM
Paid advertising on facebook has typically low coversion rates, as unlike with Google Adwords, people aren't actually searching for your product or service.

Having a presence on Facebook (as a business page) is different however and can be really successful. Mainly as it allows you to re target users as often as you like (although hopefully not too often..you will notice people UN-liking you)
A possible similarity is for those Internet Marketers who write content and distribute press releases and articles for their clients - (the good ones) often put a lot of thought in to writing articles and content which could be shared & distributed further because if it is good content, people will share it and this will obviously benefit their SEO. This concept is similar to real marketing, looking for new angles, etc. Thoughts?
Do you read flyers through the post? 22nd February 2012 12:49 PM
I actually do have a quick glance at any flyers that come through my door, whether that quick glances turns in to me reading the flyer depends of my initial first impression of the flyer itself and if the service is something i would possibly be interested in.
