why shouldnt dads share the workload, most mums have to go back to work and I bet lots of dads would enjoy spending time with their new baby

I agree with Anita, its all rubbish.

Footballers are notorious womanisers, any woman getting involved in that kind of life cant be naive, these are young guys, at their peak, mollycoddled, huge egos and earning obscene money. They have a skill which has a short working life, and to be affected by nonsense off the pitch is daft. Although can see why managers encourage them to marry, its when kids get involved that it all gets a bit sad.
