One way my clients boost theirs is posting regular blogs with expert information. Answering questions that their target market are asking. After all, doubling your traffic is only useful if the people are likely to buy and they're your target audience.

Thanks Sophie. I guess my article was based on the small businesses that are on this forum. As realistically there's only so much you can do when you're a smaller business but consistency is the key element, however many times you decide is best for you.

I think Facebook advertising is highly effective if you use it well and if your target market is there.

If you mean paying for followers or likes I wouldn't recommend it. Just post great content, engage lots with posts from you target audience and grow your account organically.

That's good if you want to post the exact same thing on all platforms. I don't. I think you need to tailor it to the audience and the platform.
