Is copying and pasting ethical? 7th November 2014 12:49 PM
Talking away the MLM aspect - not sure if i'm being slow but whats the harm in buying a product & then selling it on for a profit?

Lets just say i buy 100 cards off abfabcards for eg £100, then off load them on Amazon for £150 - if people are prepared to pay my asking price - is there really any harm?”

Absolutely no problem with what you say Clive because you will have ownership of the product,  the issue with DS is that the person selling the product on eBay does not own the product and I would suggest in most cases the Amazon seller is unaware their product is being sold by someone else on eBay.

Hard winter? 6th November 2014 8:43 PM

Keep seeing reports on social media some from the big national papers that we are heading for a hard winter this year. Colder than last winter and lasting until March. Any thoughts? I notice a lot of berries on the bushes, usually a sign of a cold winter. Birds leaving the berries knowing they will need them during a cold winter. An old wives tale or an ounce of truth?

You maybe right Higgers. Of course some sellers are selling their goods on eBay as well as Amazon. Would be better if the DS person contacted the seller and asked if they could sell their product for them and earn a commission. That would make it more ethical.

Hi Slimshady01,

welcome to the forum.

Congratulations on starting a business. Good to hear things are going well.

Argos are finally moving away from catalogues, focussing more on click and collect and digital sales. Also you can now pick up products you have purchased from EBay at your local Argos shop. I use to work for Argos, glad to get out, far too much pressure on the staff with very little reward.

We have a nice Asian family living near us, I spoke to the mother, she attends collage three times a week to learn to speak English, because she knows how important language is. She also speaks French and spainish.

I would like us to stay in the EU but worry that the Germans and French the two most powerful countries in the EU, want to create some sort of super state. The EU needs to change and the UK should play a bigger part in it. 100 years ago war was being fought in France and Belgium. In WW2 more lives would be lost. On both occasions our great Nation stood up against the Kaiser and against  Hitler, we made a stand for freedom. And we helped to liberate those Europeans that were subjected to such horrors of occupation that thankfully we on this island never experienced. We owe it to all those lives lost to make a go of developing a successful EU. If we fail then Europe may go back to those dark days of mistrust, envy and dealing with differences with bullets and bombs rather than talking. I see our role in the UK as peace keepers after all did we not help to achieve peace in Europe at the end of two horrific wars. A successful prosperous Europen Union that thrives on freedom and democracy. Is this not a long lasting tribute to all those lives that were lost in two World Wars.

Leaflet Distribution 5th November 2014 11:13 AM

I did read somewhere how the first couple of seconds of someone picking up a leaflet off their door mat is crucial. So very important to make your leaflet stand out.  Something to catch someone's  eye.

Ha ha that would be funny. King Charles of the United Kindom and Romania!

They may vote to restore the monarchy.  Ex King Michael is the current claimant to the the throne of Romania.

I think it's rather romantic to restore the monarchy. As long as they base it on our monarchy. Non political.
