Looking to expand my business 23rd October 2014 11:41 AM

Hi everyone,

I am looking to expand my business. I am promoting it on social media, and promoting it locally too. It's a great time to join to capture the Christmas card sales. Plus anyone joining in October will receive a free e-commerce website, normally costing £30.

So anyone think of any sites I can advertise on, free sites would be good.

films you enjoy 22nd October 2014 7:34 AM

I do like a good laugh, so any of the carry on films. I too like James Bond, because I enjoy a good thriller,  and also keen on Sci Fi such as Star Wars, fascinated to see how the future may look like.

One more month 22nd October 2014 7:32 AM

Well done.

Thanks Steve, it was kind of spooky.

Cant believe the amount of poses the photographer had me in. Yet the paper only published one pic. He had all kinds of equipment. Even a little umbrella!   I guess a bonus for me, the photographer was rather dishy. Ha Ha

Phoenix Trading are donating 5p for each item ordered from the special charity online brochure to the Western Front Association. An organisation that helps to keep alive the memories of those that took part in WW1 regardless whose side they were on. They also educate children and adults about WW1.

I think this is a good charity to support. Hopefully it may also generate more sales and new customers. The more items sold the more money can be raised.

I see this as good for marketing especially as this is a special year linked to the start of WW1.

This is the link, it was my Bank that contacted me, the Mail on Sunday were doing an article on saving money and wanted to chat with some of the Banks customers, they decided to go with me! The photographer came round, I was told he will only take about 10 minutes, he stayed for an hour!

Although I was allowed to talk about my greeting card biz, they didn't print what I said only about what I said about saving money, but still got my pic in a National paper!

I love my little business. I have always loved stationery, so having a home based business selling greeting cards etc. is a dream for me.  Since I made the decision, recently to focus more time and effort on my business, I appear to attract good things to me. In September I appeared in the Mail on Sunday!

I am also raising funds for Chart UK through my business. I feel passionate at helping others. Chart UK interact with children on limited lives with music and art.

I also love chatting to my customers, often being invited into their homes.

Is copying and pasting ethical? 20th October 2014 11:51 AM

Thanks Steve,

sadky seeing so many people join DS. What concerned me was the deception. A friend sells products on Amazon, was recently shocked to see someone from DS had copied and pasted his products, put them on eBay and selling at a marked up price! He was not too happy!

I think you are right someone is making a lot of money promoting this opportunity.

Is copying and pasting ethical? 20th October 2014 8:31 AM

Has anyone heard of DS Domination? It's an opportunity to drop ship products by buying at a low cost and selling them on eBay. However the company teach people to copy products that on sale on Amazon and paste on eBay, selling at a Mark up price, without the Amazon sellers knowledge. Plus when a customer buys the item on eBay at a higher price, the DS Rep will buy it at the lower price on Amazon and send direct to the customer, thereby deceiving the customer. Both Amazon and eBay are aware this sort of drop shipping goes on, but does it make it right? Any thoughts?

Thanks Steve,

Good incentive.
