Funnily enough I've just been sent some spam at the bottom of the emails are lots of impressive logo's which the spammer belongs too. One of them is ICS which up until now I never even heard of... Institute of Customer Services just goes to show you live and learn all the time

PostsCustomer Service - thoughts? Is it getting better or worse? 19th May 2014 7:12 PM Is it right that one child dictates the Rules? 19th May 2014 4:37 PM When I was a lad in junior school, if we had salad for dinner we also use to get a portion of peanuts with it. I'm guessing these are now banned in schools too along with pork chops and gammon steaks... I'm guessing if you were stuck on a desert island and the only thing you had to eat you were either allergic to or your man made religious beliefs told you to refrain from eating said product, the question is do you it it or do you starve yourself to death.... I know what I would do, but then I've never gone hungry Strikes - right or wrong and at what cost? 19th May 2014 4:16 PM I've never been in a union myself, but have always held the opinion that employees have the right to strike and withdraw their labour (as long as their not getting paid) When being employed by others, when I lost interest or began to hate the job I upped and left, no amount of money or better conditions would ever keep me working for a company. But for some people I can kind of understand why they would strike, cost of living going up, fuel costs, rent and everything else going up, their disposable income gets less and less over the years. On the flip side most employees all think their employers are rolling in it even in the middle of a recession, when in reality their having to make cutbacks themselves....... There's a fine line for businesses keeping people in work or laying them off. Planning for Pensions - 1 less takeway meal = extra 19th May 2014 2:12 PM And when the actually do get to retire, that £50k will be worth next to nothing compared to what the cost of living will be. ipad email set up 17th May 2014 6:25 PM Just another quick question on this, I seem to have over 20,000 emails now If I scroll down the little black /grey slider thingy Could this be a software issue? We've had Smart Cars, now time for a Smart Bike? 17th May 2014 6:13 PM A lot of the problems with cyclists in London lie with the current Mayor and his road planning engineers, there are several footpaths that have been converted into cycle lanes to keep them off the road. But any driver pulling out from a junction into the main road may not see the cyclist say if there is a parked vehicle, the cyclist carry's on pedaling without slowing down or giving way, vehicle that is moving pushes them straight into 3 lanes of oncoming traffic. The result being one cyclist dead and the scrap man gets some more scrap metal. One of the other bad designs is, a driver drives out a junction, ahead of him is a one way sign telling him that he has to turn left, the cycle lane crosses this junction. 50 yards to his left is another junction which the driver also has to turn left, which in effect is a blind spot. Any normal thinking driver would assume that he/she is entering a one way street, they will automatically be looking to their right for moving traffic and cyclists. What no one has bothered to tell the driver is that the cycle lane caters for cyclists traveling in both directions. In the few seconds it has taken the driver to look to his right and make their manoeuvre, a cyclist comes hurtling around the drivers blind spot and 5 minutes later is pronounced as being dead. Driver is arrested for driving without due care and attention... Immigration - Migrants are twice as entrepreneurial as British-born population 17th May 2014 12:10 AM Well to be honest, you only have to visit any supermarket car park and see all the car washing businesses that have sprung up over the years, they all seem to be run by migrants, who issue receipts and are paid in cash for washing your motor while you shop. HMRC must love them We've had Smart Cars, now time for a Smart Bike? 16th May 2014 2:24 PM I like the bike, how it takes into consideration of the pot holes, location, surrounding obstacles ect. The only thing it fails to take into consideration is the cyclist on board who thinks it's great to ignore the highway code... I can't see me investing I hate cyclists Reviews 16th May 2014 1:19 PM I recently posted a review with Trustpilot, I had an horrendous time having materials delivered from a national well known company. basically i waited over a month for the boilers to arrive. I could have got them albeit a bit more expensive from the same merchant in the local branch. Three different delivery dates were given, even though on their site it states delivery would be within 3 days, they also stated this both verbally over the phone and in a written email. When I put this information on the review the company complained and the review was withdrawn... so what is the point? |
