Good old wikipedia says: "Most central banks are tasked with keeping their inter-bank lending rates at low levels, normally to a target annual rate of about 2% to 3%, and within a targeted annual inflation range of about 2% to 6%. I never thought that such nonsense will be posted on this forum. Zero inflation is a disaster for the industry!
