Of course time will tell if I was right or wrong

Could be a false positive but well done for sensing it

The only one I had among all factors you mentioned when starting my startup, was the sense of humour
An SEO firm (Plussems) already offering package deals on +1 button clicks. They offer up to 2000 clicks for $360. Wonder if Google will take +1 into account for search results when hundreds of firms like that will be emerged in coming days, weeks and months.

Hi fourth monkey, could you point me to a working version of this? Or pm me some details?

Thanks in advance.

I wrote a blog post to explain it in details. If still not clear, drop me a PM. Cheers.

Long time no jokes. So thought of posting one. I am not great at creating jokes, so had to copy it from elsewhere.

A cute little old lady goes to the doctor and says, "Doctor I have this problem with gas, but it really doesn't bother me too much. They never smell and are always silent. As a matter of fact I've farted at least 10 times since I've been here in your office. You didn't know I was farting because they don't smell and are silent."

The doctor says, "I see. Take these pills and come back to see me next week."

The next week the lady returns. "Doctor," she says, "I don't know what the heck you gave me, but now my farts, although still silent, stink terribly".

"Good," the doctor said. "Now that we've cleared up your sinuses, let's work on your hearing."

Looking at a counter argument this might open up the prospect doing spammy stuff in the name of your competitors to bring them down.

The links that are built that way will be devalued as soon as Google realise it, means they won't play any role in rankings at all. As Steve mentioned, you can't control who links to you. So doing spammy link building for the sake of bringing a competitor down is like wasting time and money(as they will still rank where they should without those links), which could be spent doing link building for own sites to beat the competitor the right way.
I was reading a Google report about the US market - sorry I can't find the link or I would post it. And in their definition a small company is one with less than 500 employees - a medium one with up to 25,000 and a large above that.

Can you believe - how many UK companies even have 500?

According to Wikipedia, in the European Union, a small business generally has under 50 employees and a medium sized business has under 250 employees.

25000 employees and still medium sized? If that's true, Google, Yahoo, Facebook, Ebay, BBC are all medium sized businesses.

Now I feel so proud calling mine a small business.
I respectfully disagree with the guy.

Wow man, you are challenging Danny Sullivan. You have got some balls

Well its the name of the engineer who came up with the thing.

His name is Panda?

And Google has a large number of "eyes" watching everywhere reading forums and your Gmail accounts (shhhhh I never said that) even MLF?

I don't think they care.
