haha excellent! and that is before i even changed it!

Yep - I suspected the site was down, hence why I followed it up quickly

Edit: Err bit confused, the CardtoFind link is working too, is your browser playing up?

But still appreciate the heads up!

Nope, the link is definetly still broken, saw that one about a month ago but never got round to telling you sorry! To be precise, go to the first column of cardtofind website, and click on the logo at bottom. It's pointing to the link I referred you to, which doesn't work. In fact this is the source code for your ref,

<a target="_blank" href="http://kipfx.com/webanddesignprices.html" title="Advertising"><img src="http://www.cardtofind.com//modules/blockadvertising/advertising.jpg" alt="Advertising" /></a>
</div>
<!-- /MODULE Block advertising -->

Hope that helps you.

Cheers

Kip, for info... your freebusinessforum link doesn't work in the article.

Also, whilst I'm at it, you've got a link on cardtofind (eshop link) that points to a dead link.. on kipfx.com/webanddesignprices.html

Hopefully, I won't find anymore dead links for you.

You can pay me later..

How fast google can work 26th March 2010 10:37 AM
All we need to wait for now is for Google to drink it's Caffeine (or may be it has already nobody knows!) and see what effect it has on it's algorithms.

For those that have not heard about Google Caffeine, it's an update to Google's search engine, which is going to focus more on a lot of what we've regarded as good practice but for what it's worth here is my view to make sure you're best placed for it.....

From the original testing we know that greater keyword density, quicker site speed, social media links, video listings, fresher content and keywords in the domain name are going to be important.

So, make sure your site is up to speed, create some videos (optimising for SEO), create some link baits, have real-time content and then maybe your site will be indexed even more frequently than ever
Reciprocal Links - whats the verdict? 25th March 2010 10:51 AM
To sum up, if a well known site e.g. BBC links to your site, then that adds value to your site in terms of page ranking credibility.

However, links that are of value with meaningful content will, IMHO, be far better than a load of reciprocal links with newunheardof.com websites.

Just my twopenneth!
Budget was as expected, most tax hikes were already known. It is well known the country is in a serious amount of debt, but the governement is delaying the inevitable further tax rises till after the election.

Kiddy friendly browser 25th March 2010 10:40 AM
From Mama C ...as it's an american site do you know if the websites checked would allow uk sites?...

Yes, from their website it states, Kids can enter web addresses, search or browse to go to websites that have been approved by parents and teachers. Parents can modify the settings as they desire.

So looks quite flexible....

...in fact just googled Browsers for kids and there's a few other browsers. So if interested, check for yourself.
Kiddy friendly browser 24th March 2010 9:09 PM
I've not heard of this till now and my kids are still too young to be let loose near a pc so I don't know what it's like but thought those with children might be interested in KidZui an internet browser for kids.
Yes must admit I do wonder, but Google takes updates from it so must add some value.

However, it's not the be all and end all... ..so if you're not on, there's still plenty of other SEO techniques to get to the top of the search page
