Unbelievable, made redundant via email
BBC News - Army job loss e-mails: Soldiers get apology

my favourite quote...
"And to be dumped by e-mail - it's the sort of thing you might expect from a playground romance, not a 22-year contract with Her Majesty's armed forces."

It's quite funny how they can get away with stuff like this.

If an employer where to do something like this im sure they could be had?

Thanks,

Cannot understand that you would send an email to someone who has given this country so many years. Hope the sender is looking for a new job themselves.

This does not surprise me, offer your life and get treated like ****, says it all about this country.

The thing that really makes this story even worse is they said it was send by accident

How can you send an email firing people by accident?

Thanks,
Kevin.Wiles

I think the whole thing stinks! Disgraceful I say...

Yeh the whole situation is horrid but to say you sent it by accident takes the biscuit, how can you send an email sacking people by accident
