Brilliant! From Start to finish both Martin and Lee were excellent and professional. The survey was extremely thorough and laid out in a 72 page report. South West surveyors were fantastic. Martin gave me some initial information about the services they provide, which were very detailed and made me make my descion a lot quicker. Lee carried out our survey and was amazing. Within 24 hours of completing the survey we received a VERY detailed report and was able to put our minds at ease. Because the report was that detailed we had no further questions to follow up with Lee. I would highly recommend South West surveyors to anyone!!

Lee Preston has delivered on time a clear and detailed full building survey report. He has offered to meet afterwards so I can ask questions about the content, and provided guidance on actions to take. He also answered further questions via email.
Martin has also been great at organizing the survey, and answering my questions in a timely manner.

Very thorough survey and well worth the money. We would use again and definitely recommend to friends and family. Lee went into the loft and got some great shots of the roof which was a surprise. And he made some recommendations which we discussed in more detail over the phone. He knew his stuff!

My partner and I have used Domestic Surveys twice now! Both times we had Lee for our Building Surveys, and would highly recommend anyone looking to buy to use this firm and have Lee do your survey for you!
- Martin at the customer service team responds very quickly and always tries to help move the survey date forward if possible. Very friendly and communicative.

An absolute superb service end to end. Despite the manic market and the tight timescales South West Surveyors managed to squeeze us in. Overall we've been highly impressed with the service provided by the company and in particular, Lee the surveyor.

Lee provided a comprehensive report of the condition of our new home and has helped us to identify key issues that otherwise would have gone unnoticed.

He was also more than happy to arrange follow up consultations to go through the report and to help us understand the key issues picked up and what impact they may have.

I would definitely use their services again and I think it's worth every penny.

The survey provided by South West Sirveyor/Domestic Surveyor for the flat I am in the purchasing process is very good. The report is comprehensive and easy to understand. In addition, the surveyor, Lee Preston, is very helpful. He initiated a zoom meeting with me after sending us the report. So that I can ask for his advice if there is anything that I don’t understand. He also reminded me on some important issues that I need to follow up with our solicitor or other professionals we may appoint in future.
Although there are surveyors who may charge lower fee, the money spent is worth for the services received.
Despite schedule of the survey had been postponed twice due to technical issue caused by another party, the survey can still be completed in a timely manner without any additional cost. This company and the surveyor are highly recommended.

Lee carried out a full building survey on my property. He was an absolute star from beginning to end. He uses a traffic light system on his detailed report, which made it very easy to see what I should pay attention to in the short, medium and long term. This enabled me to source the appropriate trades people to provide quotes. Lee kindly looked at these to confirm if they are in line with what he would expect to for the work required.

Being a first time buyer I had many questions which Lee was always happy to answer. If I didn’t quite understand something he would source a picture or Youtube video that made it completely clear.

Lee is fantastic at his job and really lovely guy too, so I would certainly recommend him to anyone looking for a quality surveyor, especially if a first time buyer.

We asked a Level 3 building survey for the house we are purchasing, and could have it booked fairly quickly. The report was very thorough and full of details coming together with a full folder of pictures. The recommendations for remediation were also very thorough, and we could also have a zoom session with the surveyor to ask further questions. Thanks to this report we could renegotiate a small reduction on the price of the house, and we have now a clear road map of things to be done on the house.

Would recommend this company without hesitation. Martin was very helpful from the outset in determining the kind of survey needed for the property. The survey was done by Lee Preston and he provided a really thorough, detailed report including photos taken on the day of the various relevant areas of concern, all rated in terms of urgency of attention required, as well as information from relevant internet searches. He also made himself available for a follow-up conversation about any aspects of the survey which helped to clarify these details. All in all, an excellent service.

I got a home buyer's survey with Lee Preston. Its the first time I have ever bought a house and I was really impressed with the ease with which I was able to get an appointment (thank you Martin) and then the speed with which I received the report - just two days after the survey was carried out. The report is really clear and comprehensive and will definitely serve as a very helpful 'to do' list for the house.
