I had a Level 3 property survey. Lee Preston, the Surveyor was absolutely brilliant. He produced a very detailed report with clear recommendations.
Lee offered a zoom or telephone option to discuss the report and I had several conversations with him during the conveyancing process. Lee was extremely helpful, providing advice and support during what was an incredibly stressful time.
I would highly recommend this company and Lee in particular and would certainly use them again in the future.

Lee recently carried out a level 3 survey, and his help has been invaluable. I've been impressed by the quality and rigour of his work (easily laid out in a 95 page report), and would definitely use his services again.
As a first time buyer, the call to talk through the report and any other questions was particularly useful. Lee took the time to walk through what he would/wouldn't immediately worry about, what temporary fixes might be available, the expected time and cost of making the fixes good, and also what I may be able to do myself. I feel incredibly well informed, and really valued him doing this.

We are very pleased by the service provided by South West Surveyor's for a level 2 survey on our new house in Bristol, which we booked through Domestic Surveys. Lee did a very thorough job looking over the property and providing us comprehensive information about the condition of the house, including lots of photos, and Martin of Domestic Surveys did a great job organizing the survey and responding promptly and efficiently to all our emails. Would definitely recommend!

We asked a Level 3 building survey for the house we are purchasing, and could have it booked fairly quickly. The report was very thorough and full of details coming together with a full folder of pictures. The recommendations for remediation were also very thorough, and we could also have a zoom session with the surveyor to ask further questions. Thanks to this report we could renegotiate a small reduction on the price of the house, and we have now a clear road map of things to be done on the house.

I have had an extremely good quality device with South West Surveyors. Lee was enthusiastic, highly detailed and conscientious in his report. He presented me with a sound over view of the property as well as smaller, practical details and advice in a clear, personable way. Having this advice and guidance has equipped me with more knowledge than I expected, and the team went above and beyond to accommodate my needs in their busy schedule. Highly recommended.

Would recommend this company without hesitation. Martin was very helpful from the outset in determining the kind of survey needed for the property. The survey was done by Lee Preston and he provided a really thorough, detailed report including photos taken on the day of the various relevant areas of concern, all rated in terms of urgency of attention required, as well as information from relevant internet searches. He also made himself available for a follow-up conversation about any aspects of the survey which helped to clarify these details. All in all, an excellent service.

I got a home buyer's survey with Lee Preston. Its the first time I have ever bought a house and I was really impressed with the ease with which I was able to get an appointment (thank you Martin) and then the speed with which I received the report - just two days after the survey was carried out. The report is really clear and comprehensive and will definitely serve as a very helpful 'to do' list for the house. Lee was kind enough to offer a Zoom call as a follow up which meant I was able to ask questions in more detail. All in all, a very thorough, professional service, thank you very much.

Lee completed a survey on the house I purchased in April and provided an excellent service from start to finish. He was very accommodating with regards to availability and ensured that he was clear in the procedures he was going to do with regard to COVID. This made myself, and the previous owners, confident he was being safe and stringent with his risk assessments. After the inspection I received a thorough document of the property detailing all aspects of the house on the inside and out. Each area was graded in terms of risk and particular problems were explained in detail but also simply enough for non-professionals. He also recommended what work needed to be carried out with a rough estimate of costs. Not only was this explained in the document, as he also made a follow up call to talk in person about the work. This was a nice touch as a one-to-one call makes things easier to understand.
Overall, I was very impressed. There is only so much you can see when you view a potential property so it was great to get expert advice. For the money I spent on the survey I saved in the purchase of the house ten-fold so I highly recommend Lee and his team.

The whole experience with Lee was great. We went for the full report rather than the HomeBuyers’ Report as this is our first time buying an old property. Very pleased with the service received and the cost was very competitive. The report was produced in a timely manner; it was clear and easy to understand, and covered everything with a sound advice on the potential cost of remedial work needed. Fantastic service, highly recommend.
Martin, the team member who arranged the survey was very professional. The response time and arranging the survey went very smoothly. Happy with the speed and customer service. Excellent value.
We will definitely instruct them to undertake the survey on our next potential purchase.

We were recommended to Lee from a friend of ours, we received the report within a couple of days after the initial survey date. As we were first time buyers we wanted to know what issues may be present at the property, and who we would need to instruct to carry out any repairs.
The homebuyers report was laid out nicely and the traffic light system really works well. We could see what repairs were urgent and or required further investigations as well as any less serious repairs.
The report was supplied with a number of annotated pictures of the main issues identified. This was very helpful and allowed us understand where some of the issues were located.
Lee ran through the report over the phone with us and answered all the questions we put forward. We were happy with the price and serviced provided and would definitely use Lee again.

Lee carried out a Homebuyers Survey for us on a house we were looking to buy. The survey was booked-in quickly and we were provided with a clear a concise report.
We received the report my email and had a phone call a few days later.
All our questions were answered and we would definitely recommend lee to anyone looking for a survey.
