Hi Folks

Long time no speak, as they say!...but watch this space!

...needing some feedback here, if anyone has some helpful words of advice.

Was deliberating on setting up a online shop to sell some of my artwork, as prints (see sample)

Etsy BigCartel Society6 etc etc there are loads out there .....who to go with!

If anyone's got some experience with the above on the do's and don'ts I'm all ears

Thanks

Jan

Hi there ... Problem with online shops is there are so many.

But it boils down to do you want a out of the box site or are you willing to put some effort into learning how to build 1..Out of the box sites are good but lack function and often limit you to a 100 or so products, free versions like I use can have a multitude of add on's + you can adjust to suite your liking..For example I use zencart and am able to tinker as much as I like. Will be happy to help if needed

Just had a thought you would possibly better off using wordpress as you can do all sorts of things  ..But just to warn you it is not easy at first but you get the hang of it in the end ...weird me saying that as I hate wordpress lol

Yes that is true to compete with other similiar online shops quite tough nowadays even if you have a good product to sell. Most important to create reputable name, than more people know and talk about you than more people will trust your shop.
