Don't you mean until they fly the nest

That's so cute! My son says mama pretty much constantly.... He's 16 months.

I have lots to do this weekend, I'm a Mum to two small ones so I don't get heaps of time to work in the week and when I have a big job on the go I have to work weekends. I'm looking for some solidarity, who else is working this weekend? I will definitely need lots of tea and biscuits to get me through!”

i work all days depending on the needs of the company, as a coach operator it could be any days within 24 hour periods, only as the European laws allow tho. IE tachograph rules abd regs and hours etc set by European laws/

Thanks,
John

Another underhanded tax burden

On another rant has anyone noticed the way the car tax works now, if you sell your car mid month you cant claim anything back, but you still need to buy this months tax for new vehicle #

paying twice the government must be making a mint, unless you sell your car ythe last day of th month you pay twice

It is an outrage and another way of hitting motorists, do we just sit back and let the government just take more and more. It Only happens if you sell a car after the 1st of the month, if purchase another vehicle u lose the month you have with the previous vehicle and pay another months excise on the new vehicle

I am sure we all don't purchase cars on the 30th of the month ,but we need to in future,

With this extra tax burden  yoU cant transfer the tax, paying or losing 2 months

Has anyone else suffered this extra pocket money fr the government - mint comes to mind

Your remarks and comments  please

I have to work weekends, but I love my work, so it is worth it! This is the top table and the wedding ceremony room for last Saturday's wedding.

Oh that looks beautiful Izzy! How are you? Do lots of people order Christmas flowers?

Up to my eye balls! Not complaining though! We make Christmas wreaths for graves and to hang on doors (they are made differently!!), seasonal bouquets, arrangements in crackers, bags and baskets, planters as indoor and outdoor gifts. Also, we sell lots of sundries for people to make their own. I'd love you to pop in, the shop smells divine - Eucalyptus, pine, cinnamon, oranges, lilies, roses, freesias all contributing to the scent.

If you look on our FB page, https://www.facebook.com/maketheirdayflorist/ or website, www.make-their-day.co.uk/,  you can see much of what we do. Loving life!

That all sounds great although I'm very anti cinnamon so you can keep that smell to yourself! I am fascinated as to how you make flowers small enough for crackers?? I'd love to see what you mean.

I wish I lived closer as I could have done with some advice on a good plant as a gift for my parents in their new house.
