Google trademark policy changes

I, for one, am very happy to read today that Google are changing their trademark policy in the UK. This move brings the UK in line with the US policy

From 14th September this year, UK Adwords advertisers will be allowed to use trademarked words in their Adtext without the strict permission from the trademark owner.

I think this is great news for the smaller e-commerce business advertiser as it allows them to use Adwords to advertise their branded products via PPC.

However, I am sure the trademark owners won't be as impress as me at this news
