It's great to see Jaguar and Landrover doing really well, what a shame they couldn't do that under British ownership

Even Ford struggled to see their value, well done Tata!

The Indians aren't silly
They were into such things as importing & exporting vehicles long ago, and have made alot of money out of such things.
Also they were some of the first people to get involved in blogging and social bookmarking, compared to them we are all newbies to SEO.
I don't mind though, good for them. Shame on the people who have failed us in the Uk.

Well I suppose at least with Tata, the aging but fantastic Landrover Defender's got another 20 years or so Ford were talking about a new version based on the Ford Explorer of all things

Only have to look at the Discovery3 to see the 'orrible ford stamp all over it...

I was on holiday travelling round India a couple of years ago, and was fascinated with the Tata brand, its everywhere. They seem to buy up all the old vehicle presses off other manafactures and then keep building them. I saw circa 1990's Mercedes trucks, that were brand new, but with a big Tata badge on, and old shape nissan cars.

Still wish Landrover were British though

That's exactly why the Indians aren't silly..

Maybe if some British guys had done the same thing, we would still have landrover.
Personally I think it's a shame we no longer have Rolls Royce, I'm really not old enough to remember the cars but.. such classics.!
