Ok, so I am on the edge of my seat, and the 25th of March seems so far away (when they are released in the UK).
Few changes, 2 cameras, A5 dual chip, 9x graphics speed up, HDMI link up and a couple of updated apps and the all new ios4.3!
To say I am excited would be an understatement, I was going to get the wifi-3g one, but they now have a link from iphones 3g and the wifi on the iPad, so I can use my iphones internet anyway! (saved me a chunk of money)
For some this is a gimmick gadget, for me it opens up a whole new world of mobile work, I tend to travel about a bit, and sometimes have to take my iMac with me when I am busy, but now I can do most of my stuff with the iPad2, plug it in to a big telly and any wordpress stuff I am doing becomes big screen, and as this is mostly what i do these days, I am very excited!

Wait a year? No chance, and as any apple or iphone uses knows, the backing up is a rare occurrence. Using a cable, which you have to do to charge it, so you sync at the same time if needs be. Memory size the same as the first iPad, its a mobile device, who cares! Syncing iTunes, rarely done, anything you buy on app store is dumped straight to the iPad, same as on my iPhone! HD display? Means it would cost more, and at 9' not really an issue, have 50' panasonic viera with full surround for movies. Not one thing there that is a negative in my book, move with the times, or stick with ZX Spectrum +! This will make my work faster, easier on the move and a hell of a lot of fun too. 18 days and counting!

Does seem to be a bit light on serious improvements, more of a hardware service pack  Recently took the plunge and bought the missus an iphone 4, it is a gucci machine, but might have know iphone 5 was in the post!!
Magic wires, it is true, you have to charge the iPad up and sync from time to time, had no idea the inferior tablet manufacturers had designed wireless charging! heheWhat they failed to mention is the apple owned MobileMe, possibly the best cloud out there, no clunks at all! so ner! Come on, if this is the only argument that the others can fight with, we will see the 90% market share rising a tad more methinks! iPhones always released in the summer, only ever get one july-august buddy!

I should be on bloody commission Steve (not Jobs, but if Steve Jobs is reading this, you owe me some dough!) have 4 clients now using iMacs and one using the old iPad. Should I leave my bank details here for payment from Apple? lol |
