I was employed by a new company which is engaged in water meter sales. I have been working in the overseas sales department for months. It is very hard for me to find the potential buyers. I have read some forum threads and internet links and come to know that people in UK or USA don't have to pay for a water meter. The water company will install water meters at their properties free of charge as long as you apply for one. But it is different here in China. People have to pay for a water meter before it gets installed. And the water meter supplier is exclusively water meter companies. So anybody can tell me is my understanding right? If not, can you do me a big favor and tell me sth about the water company and water meter in UK and in USA. Many thanks in advance.
