Had a bad experience with a couple of contractors that came highly recommended from a client of ours...are there any recources out there that have official reports about contractors? It would have been nice to know that one of the ones we hired has a history of jumping the guns with intents to lien; had we known that in advance, we never would have gone with that company.
Hi Polaris. guess it depends where you are. At the State level, Arizona has a cool contractor site. great page on unlicensed most wanted  Arizona Registrar of Contractors Nationwide I've heard good things about Angies List Consumer Reports, Customer Reviews, Ratings on Contractors and Doctors though not used it myself. Apparently everyones vetted, and you can leave complaints.
There are also numerous business directories (other than us!) which also offer contractor reviews. ...and of course welcome to the Forums!
