“Saw a funny quote on the internet attributed to Harry Truman (US President in the 1940s): "It's a recession when your neighbor loses his job; it's a depression when you lose yours." Thank goodness this mess never turned into a depression. Government definitions aside, doesn't quite feel like we're out of recession- not for us builders anyway.
”
I think I had a bit of recession with depression but life goes on and I think, whether it is a depression or not, it's largely in the mind - except of course for the physical reality of how it impacts on you.
But when the sun shines, which it did today - brilliant clear blue sky, radiant sunshine and warm air - things look so much better.
And then, you just have to take note of how amazing life is and notice all the opportunities around you .... and you just have to reach for them.
