Best of luck. So what issue are you struggling with? ie if it's marketing, what have you tried so far?

There's plenty of free stuff out there, or there's lower risk paid, such as designing and printing flyers, then delivering them yourself.

But marketing/advertising is normally part of your normal overheads and becomes a fact of life, unless you have a big enough client base for repeat or word of mouth advertising. Even most free advertising carries a cost, ie time. So work out what you are worth, and then how much you are saving by not doing your primary business activities.

Be interesting to know what your advisor says, and if you found it useful

Well the meeting was a unproductive, he didn't tell me anything i didn't know so will go ahead with original plans.

Oh dear, unfortunately an all to often tale But sometimes just talking ideas outloud can help, even if it's no more than reinforcing what you already know, so maybe not completely unproductive?
