According to the beeb:

"London Underground workers are to hold a 48-hour strike next week in a long-running dispute over staff cuts.

The RMT union said its members had been instructed not to book on for any shifts between 21:00 BST next Tuesday and 20:59 hrs on Thursday.

The planned strike coincides with separate walk-outs by council workers and civil servants nationwide."

Looks like the issue is over ticket office closures and staff reductions as Transport for London tries to make major savings, apparently it needs to save £4.2bn by 2020!

The trouble with unions is they don't like change, the problem with that is the more protesting they do the sooner driverless trains come into force, leaving them likely to lose their employment altogether. On the plus side MLF will have more one man band start ups joining....
