There are a whole hoist of software that you can use for invoicing. One suggestion is tradeshift Tradeshift - Free online invoicing & more. Suggest you have a look at that.

As far as registering for VAT this is not necessary until a set period that you think you will hit the turnover threshold for VAT.

As in regards to finding a good accountant here is an article for what to look for when looking for an accountant:

Good points AlanF. I think my point was that Google has such a big market share already that it dominates the search traffic as it stands. If Yahoo and Google were to hash out a deal that would be considered highly unfair to the other search engine companies.

On a slightly different point I think that Yahoo should of taken Bing takeover offer. Lets hope that Yahoo can term its fortunes around.
Yahoo to say goodbye Bing, hello Google? 28th September 2012 11:46 AM
You mean there isn't any currently, or there still wouldn't be any if they merged

Well there isn't much currently as it stands but this would probably push it over the edge and cause a stink to the remaining search engines.

Not an expert and I doubt this advice will be that useful for you but have you tried to google your problem; there are pretty of forums where you can just scroll through and see how others may have solved the issue that you have had. I would also suggest having a look at cnet.com; they have a How To section.
Thanks steve. Apologies for the lowercase (s). I been using this google authentication for a little while after reading a few articles about their gmail accounts getting hijacked.

It is a pretty good tool must say.

I have a gut feeling that if Uzbekistan or other similar country had been in the running and had won the right to host the games they too would be in the top 5 list of medal winners currently they only have one bronze medal. It will be intresting to see how the host country for the 2022 FIFA world cup does, their probably get into the quarter or maybe the semi finals, but ordinarily they wouldn't have a flying figs chance of being in such a position. I'll give this thread a bump up in 2022 just to prove my point

Who knows. Team GB did finish 4th in the medal table at the Beijing Olympics so not really too much of a surprise here. Most of the medals won have been in the sports that you would expect GB to win medals in and a lot of them have been sitting down competitions. It is still a great effort though.

Ok to be honest with you travelling around London has been great a few inconveniences such as no right turns but by and large most people have stayed away so traveling has been good. I do and always will though object to a minority of people having special priveleges over the majority of people. But thats just me though. As for all those who have won gold yep good luck to them although I cant understand why you can win a medal at the Olympics but can't win Wimbledon? As for the others who are now on their way to millions I do wonder as to whether they will be contributing some of their new found wealth back to the organisations like sports aid who have funded them over the years... somehow I think not...

Barney I do also wonder how some British athletes can win medals at tennis at Olympics but can win Wimbledon. Think its partly to do with it being a bit shorter then the Wimbledon and a slightly different format but still doesn't explain how a certain British player can beat the world no 1 in straight sets in a best of 5 but good news anyway. Travelling has been nice and easy with some places looking like a ghost town at the start of the Olympics. Not sure if I agree that most olympians are cheats. Yes there have been a some examples of athletes trying to cheat the system such as the rider in the team pursuit admitting to crashing on purpose in order to get the race restarted so that the team could go for a quick time.

First I'm hearing of this. Yep mistakes like this can be very costly as you can see with some companies not wanting to trade with Knight Capital again. When people think that you don't have proper backup systems in place to do with possible issues like this then there is not much you can do. Trust/goodwill is a big commodity.

Thought I'd highjack this thread rather than start a new one. I just wanted to know peoples thoughts on the ladies badminton games where it appears that some teams where deliberately trying to throw games
