Starting a forum is easy, there are plenty of freebie forum software sites, or you can pay for something like this one, which uses vBulletin software.

Establishing a forum.... the million dollar question

Personally I wouldn't class this one as established, more fledging with some great members and a lot of anonymous visitors.

Sites like V7, UKBF Digital Point etc are established, with a huge following.

If you have lots of spare hours in your day, are happy to combat against Johnny spammers who are intent on dumping web links all over your site, and spend the first 6 months pretty much talking to yourself, then go for it!

Why not find an established gift forum, and become known as the go to gift person, rather than the pain of running your own forum?

The think is that there is only one gift forum that I know of and it is in USA and nobody visits it.

I think I will give it a try, but it is not going to happen right now, maybe in 6 months.

Thanks
