Thought Yell were finished.........

I had the pleasure of being woken up this morning by one of my noisy neighbours as his van was being lifted by DVLA for no payment of the road tax or whatever they call it now. Boy did he kick off.... Up it went in the air, dropped on a low loader..... all done and dusted within 2 minutes. Was he happy? Nope..... he then decides to lie in the middle of the road moaning saying he'd have it all paid by 9am, whilst all this is going on none of us that actually live in the close can go to work..... 2 hours this went on for until he eventually saw the light and realised he wasn't getting his van back...... He's not very popular in the close today.... His only saving grace is, is that he's freed up a parking space

Not sure what is going on to be honest...... I deleted everything going back to 2011 there were over 5000 unread items in the deleted items box anyway..... Not sure why we actually keep it in the first place, maybe we're all secret hoarders...... As for the 'sent' box this does come in handy if someone queries something or I check what I have sent to someone.... But now the most emails stored in this location is 10 at that point it just self deletes..... The other thing I have noticed is that I'm pretty sure it use to say who the receiver was, now it just says who sent it..... and unless I open it I have no idea who it is to....

I've just had a thought, if your friend only works part time, say Saturday and Sunday (busy times for car washing) Between the hours of 9am and 5pm British gas are constantly advertising now that they will provide you with FREE I'll repeat that FREE gas and electricity between these hours and on these particular days

Thereby saving you money on the cat, mouse, wheel and dynamo..... Give them a call and let me know how you get on.....and how much it is going to cost you for this FREE gas and electricity.......

And now Boris is back in the cabinet and George is out...... It is difficult trying to keep up with politics on a day to day basis at the moment as it is is constantly changing......  Still waiting for all those scaremongering stories from 2 weeks ago to kick in.... might be a long wait....

Makes no sense to me either.... I believe the agent is in cahoot with the guy who originally tried to warn me off..... I don't believe for one minute the agent has forwarded any of our offers, initially I believed the house / land was under valued and that's one of the reasons we went for it.... From the outset the agent has put up barriers to prevent us from purchasing the property, now I don't believe people turn down £10k price increases.... it just doesn't happen even less so if you double the price...The agent has a legal obligation to forward all offers to the vendor up until the exchange of contracts.... most offers are either accepted or declined within an hour or two. It was only after I emailed the agent to say that I was beginning to smell a rat that they replied.....saying the vendors had turned down all offers....

So I'm going to go back on Saturday morning in the hope of catching the vendor, now if he/she is fine with everything I'll leave it at that.... as someone said £10k to the vendor is a lot.... but 1.5% of £10k to the agent isn't much if your going to get a £5k back hander from a developer..... 

There is an ombudsman,but they will only get involved if I lose money which I'm not however hard I try too on this property...

Was at the vets this morning and was telling the vet about it..... First thing he said was, is that they don't turn £10k in Wales...ever...

Well we won't be moving here...... lol.... The house was originally on the market for £160k, we offered the full asking price in the first 10 minutes and we upped it a couple of grand over the following days.......... Having sold our property to the neighbour and the banks & brokers confirming everything was ok, we then went back to the agent in Wales an offered £300k last Friday morning which we were more than willing to pay..... Silence all day from the agent, unusual as you'd normally get a call back within an hour or so.... Saturday emailed the agent confirming the offer... no response..... Today the wife emailed them again, no response from the agent, So I then emailed the agent and told them I was beginning to smell a rat between them and a developer....... within 30 minutes of this email a response arrived saying the vendor had considered the £300k cash offer over the weekend....... And decided to stick with the original £160,500 cash sale..... I get the distinct feeling the vendor has no idea what has been going on...... or I'm living in La la land........

Yeah, the problem with the last referendum was that the people that voted out didn't realise what they were voting for, totally misunderstood all the arguments, voted soley on the basis that their all racists including those that were of Asian or Afro / Caribbean decent. You cannot govern a country by having referendums every 10 minutes. The country has voted and the vote counted, the leave campaign won, granted they won by a small margin, but they won by a margin large enough.......

It would be a brave and dare I say a stupid government to hold another referendum regardless of all the 'what ifs' and or the 'legalities' of the recent referendum, as each person had one vote and each vote counted so we were all on a level playing field.....

The poll tax riots of the 80s will be like a game of tiddly winks if certain people try and manipulate the recent results, I'd expect to see a blood bath on the streets......

I get inundated about 'Top' websites and how I can become a 'Top' website.... never anything for a 'Middle' or a 'Bottom' website..... The trouble is the previous website I had, I was told that I could be 'Top' and I was, but then I went to the 'Middle' and then quickly to the 'Bottom'  page 60 to be precise, so I was neither 'Top' nor 'Middle' nor 'Bottom' I was in fact 'Nowhere'.....

Now the current website has been around since 2012 no specialist SEO gurus have been let anywhere near the site, no link building projects nothing...... just a blog article one a week... sometimes it's read, more often than not it isn't..... It works, in fact it works very well.

So I probably have a 'Bottom' website, but depending on an individuals search terms, I seem to be stuck at the 'Top'....... I can live with that...
