Dog Poo Scam! 10th May 2016 9:10 AM
lol... what ever next that has to be a poofect scam lol”

You are barking mad !

How do you report these as I have a growing list as well”

If its a text message - forward it to 7726 (I remember it as it spells SPAM in numerals), they will instantly text you back asking for the number that sent it. Text them that and then you get a text telling you they will investigate.

If its a call and you are TPS registered then simply complete the online form

If you are not registered then you can quickly register here for free You then have to wait 28 days for your number to allegedly be removed from the cold calling database, but once 28 days is over its open season on complaining.

You do have to collect a bit of info before you tell them you are reporting them for TPS nuisance calls (thats the bit i love ) - you need, number, name of company, date and time they called and give your details on the form.

It used to be a real pain to complain, now it takes just a few moments

One other thing, if you are registered, it only lasts 12 months then you need to confirm you wish to remain registered. Its still free though.

DO NOT SIGN UP WITH ANY OF THE CHARGEABLE ONES - there a few about that claim to be TPS and they charge - TPS is 100% free to register and to complain to.

If you are the mood, don't forget to sign up to MPS too  - this reduces the amount of addressed spam mail through the post.

..I wish the fines they dished out went to the person reporting it

Hey id make a fortune

Nothing winds me up more than a cold sales call to my TPS "protected" mobile and landline.

Currently being plagued at home for some boiler scam - getting 2 automated calls a day on my ansafone - been too busy to trace the number to report it

Have to be fair and say that now i am used to it, i can kind of get on with it.

Few gremlins here and there but otherwise i'd give it a C+

Interesting point.

I guess it would be treated the same as coming in/out of France, dont they have a different limit?

What happens if you get caught d/d in a foreign Country?

Oh Steve - can't believe you posted this !

They are a full time professional team, just haven't really been a top team and have pretty much taken everyone by surprise.

Winning the premiership and other endorsements, enter into Europe etc, a minimum figure of £150million pounds EXTRA revenue was quoted.

If i was a player, too damn right i'd be expecting a bonus !

My uncle & aunt celebrate their Golden Anniversary (50 years) in July. Don't hear so many people reaching such a milestone anymore.

Usually i get accused of breaking my lappy - seems win10 has become my savior

Everything gets blamed on win10 now

Fascinating article on the BBC website I was reading earlier.

All of the recent deaths are down to the baby boom generation which was between 1946 & 1964, so people who became famous in the 1960's are now reaching their 70's.

Its also down to social media that "celebrities" seem every closer and in the lime light more. Take our grandparents generation, you only really had the cinema & radio so celebs really were restricted and not in the headlines all the time.

Victoria Wood, Alan Rickman, David Bowie, even Prince were classed as baby boomers, so the article goes on to say that we will continue to see more & more of the baby boom celebs passing as they get older.

Sorry, was hoping to give you good news for the weekend, but it seems not

They are dropping far too regularly

Another one that went recently was Doris Roberts, least she made it to 90 though. She was most famous for her role as "the mother" in Everybody Loves Raymond.

Didn't realise she was so successful, won 5 Grammies in her 60 year career.
