Do you mean Cameron is doing good? As long as you're not poor, disabled, old or on a low income...Cuts everywhere on care for elderly, disabled care and benefits, the more vulnerable are worse off. It's hard for people to see if you're not affected but it's not how I'd like our country to be. I have disabled friends in dire straits.

I have neighbours on benefits for just about everything and dont work.  Their TV is bigger than mine, they have a full subscription to Sky including sports & movies, both smoke, McDondalds breakfast every Friday morning. Good to see the benefits are being put to good use !

They have a son that attends school full time but has a mild learning disability so she gets paid extra to be his carer. He is out from 8.30 - 3pm, she isnt caring then so why isnt she made to go and do either voluntary work or a small part time job and get reduced Benefits?

The Country is being milked dry by people claiming for Benefits that they either are not entitled to or somehow play the system to their advantage.

I didnt vote for Cameron either but i think he is doing a fair job and turning around the damage done by the last Government.

Interesting slant above Steve.

This will be the first time a Politician has scared me enough to actually want to vote to ensure he doesn't get in to power.

Tell you one thing though, he certainly needs a PR/image guru. He looks a bit of mess at the moment, didnt even wear a suit giving his speech yesterday.

One thing being casual, another is looking like a bag of bones in a jacket & trousers! You would think he would have one that at least fitted him.

Volkswagen - is it big business arrogance? 30th September 2015 11:16 AM

I think other manufacturers will be either owning up or be found out. This cannot be isolated to the VW Group.

Ford, Renault, Vauxhall, Mercedes etc - time to come clean - urm pardon the pun

Email Marketing? 28th September 2015 1:05 PM
Hi Phillip, I noticed your PM was disabled, so have enabled it so people can contact you, but your email is bouncing. Not sure if you are having email probs? Maybe add an alternative email so people can get in touch?

"Your message wasn't delivered due to a permission or security issue. It may have been rejected by a moderator, the address may only accept email from certain senders, or another restriction may be preventing delivery."

I have spoken to Phillip - didnt see this before i rang him.

He is changing email providers so will be email-less for a few hours.

Anyone that has emailed Phillip over the last 24 hours please can they try again either later or probably best tomorrow

And voter apathy is how they keep on getting away with it!”

The point is though that if all parties lie, embellish the truth or cannot deliver on their pre-election manifesto whats the point in voting?

Not one Politician recently has made me think, you know what I trust you enough to vote and give my time to find my nearest polling station.

So if all parties are as bad as each other how can that be voting apathy

Volkswagen - is it big business arrogance? 28th September 2015 12:57 PM

Just seen a report that it now affects most of the Audi range too with the EU5 engine.

As i have an A6, got a feeling nasty things are coming my way !

Anyone else going to be affected?

I've always been a bit anti EU but i know there are also massive benefits to staying in.

If we could negotiate more power to make our own decisions (like Scotland have) and give less power to Brussels, who quite frankly make up some ridiculous rules & Laws then i could be swayed to vote YES.

...and it is for this reason I am a dog man ;)”

Well i was a cat man, but the new fiancee is a dog lover.

We now go on walks with said creature, pop scooping as you go - oh yea the joys of being a dog lover picking up warm stinking poop   99.9% of my cats poop is buried by her

Then there is the fact that he chases my cat out the house when they come round, i dont see my cat for 24 hours after they have gone
