Business jargon, do you use it? 21st September 2015 2:22 PM

My Favorite is "Reaching out" - think that comes from our cousins across the pond.

This practice of suddenly dropping the price if you threaten to leave really hacks me off

Its just seen as an ok practice to engage in. One i obviously use myself regularly and would suggest to all that they try as nearly every service provider i have has a call each year and nearly every one of them gives me a reduction.

Pity it takes so much time but it is worth it in the end

I think its more the stitches are irritating me than the scar itself

They did say to use vaseline on the wound itself to reduce the scar, but that means touching it

The Labour Leadership - your thoughts 15th September 2015 3:09 PM

I havent voted in years.

Yes ok i know i should but there again i dont debate who is in power at any one point.

They are all as bad as each other, promising us the Earth pre elections only to be told well actually we cannot deliver this because .....

Yet to find an honest MP who isnt interested in lining their own pockets via our Tax payers money from one scam or another, well IMHO anyway.

No right to die here 14th September 2015 1:15 PM

Yep - i am ok with it all now.

Back to the o/p - just i dont think anyone can actually say its good or bad without actually physically watching a loved one literally die a bit more day by day by day.

When you have done i am sure your opinion will be changed on whether Euthanasia for humans should be made legal.

No right to die here 14th September 2015 1:03 PM
That's a good point Clive.

Just say for instance though if it ever got voted in and allowed here in the UK who would it be up to for say if the person in a terminal way could not answer who is it down t, to make that choice?”

Now you have changed the point slightly from the person concerned deciding on their demise to making an executive decision for a family member. If there was a legal stance i could have taken to lessen my fathers suffering then i would have considered it along with the rest of my family.

Each case has to has its own arguments but in my fathers case he lost mental capacity to make lucid decisions about anything financial and his care around 2 months before he actually died.

I have a lot of the decisions  I made regarding his care in the final weeks still on my conscience. Would I want the fact I pulled the trigger on him too with me as well, even to lessen his potential suffering, i just dont know
